02 / The pen
A resting place between notes.
Lay one pen horizontally in the broad recess just behind the eyes. It rests across the top, separate from the paper slot.
Where: the wide, open groove nearest the eyes.
03 / The active note
The one you’re working on.
Write on one sheet, then tuck its bottom edge into the thin slit on the upper back. This is the spot for an upright reminder, separate from the unused pad.
Where: the narrow opening behind the pen recess.
04 / The included stencils
Make a note.
Then tuck them away.
Take a stencil out, lay it over your paper and trace a note layout through its cutouts. Remove the stencil and fill in your list or grid.
Where: slide the flat templates back into the lower rear cavity when you’re finished.
Three reusable stencils are included. Use your own compatible sticky-note pad and pen; these are not included.

What is Piplo?
Piplo is a toad-shaped sticky note holder with a pen recess across the top and a separate slot for one upright paper note or photo. It is a characterful desk accessory, not an automatic note dispenser.
Does it dispense notes automatically?
No. Place a compatible square pad in the mouth and peel a sheet by hand. Piplo is a holder, not a spring-loaded or pop-up dispenser.
Which sticky-note pad will fit?
Pad footprints and stack heights vary. Use a compatible pad that sits within the mouth opening; Piplo is not claimed to fit every square pad.
What comes with Piplo?
One Piplo holder and three reusable stencils are included. The sticky-note pad and pen shown in use examples are not included.
Is the note slot the same as the pen recess?
No. The broad recess behind the eyes is for resting a pen. A separate thin slit farther back is designed for a single paper note or photo.
Will the finish look completely smooth?
The selected design has sculpted bumps and visible fine print lines. Its textured appearance is part of the selected design; a completely smooth finish is not promised.
Who would enjoy it as a gift?
Consider someone whose desk already includes characterful stationery, or who has a known interest in frogs and toads. Choose for their taste. A gift box is not included in the stated contents.
Where do the stencils go, and how do I use them?
The reusable stencils store in the lower rear cavity. Take one out, lay it flat on your paper and trace the cutouts to make a note layout. Lift it off, fill in your note, then return the stencil to the back.
