Flanq started in Gurgaon in 2025 with a simple test: would we keep this in our own home for a month, and would someone ask about it? Most objects fail one or the other.
How we choose
Every piece is used in one of our homes before it's listed — not photographed, used. Lights get left on overnight. Mugs get washed forty times. The strap goes on an actual flight. What survives with its character intact goes on the site; what doesn't, doesn't.
We keep the edit small on purpose. Eleven pieces means each one gets a real page, real photos, and a person who can answer questions about it on WhatsApp.
What we say no to
- Percentage badges and countdown timers. One price, GST and delivery included.
- Variants for the sake of it. If a colour isn't better, we don't stock it.
- Anything that looks good only switched on, only in the photo, or only for a week.
The name
To flank something is to stand beside it. A Flanq piece sits beside the things you already own — the desk, the bed, the door — and makes them a little more interesting. That's the whole ambition.
Who we are
Flanq is run by Mukshree Design Studio, Gurgaon, alongside a small family of object brands. Same people, same standard, different shelves.
